Jury finds man guilty of rape and sodomy

A man from Richmond Heights was convicted Thursday of raping and sodomizing a former girlfriend at her home in St. Louis.

Timothy A. Dickens, 34, was convicted of one count of forcible rape, two counts of sodomy and one count of sexual assault, said Assistant Circuit Attorney Christine Krug.

Dickens faces a maximum sentence of life in prison on each of the rape and sodomy counts, Krug said. Dickens went to his former girlfriend’s home on Oct. 25, 2002, broke in and attacked her, Krug said.
