4-H shooting event set

BURKE HOLLOW ? Have you ever wondered what the kids in the 4-H Shooting Sports project do? Here’s your opportunity to check it out.

Any Vermont 4-H member, eight years or older, can participate in the 2006 Shooting sports project competition, July 28-31 at the Northeast Kingdom Skeet Club, Bugbee Crossing Road in Burke Hollow.

Events will include the .22 rifle, air pistol, shotgun, muzzleloader, archery and hunting/wildlife.

Particiption requirements for non-shooting sports project members: You will need to participate in the Friday instruction at each discipline. After meeting the requirements at each area, you will be given a punch card that will allow you to participate in the Saturday competition in the guest division.
