Exactly who ‘misfired’ on gun issue?
The March 15th editorial “The NRA Misfires” criticizing facts stated by
National Rifle Association (NRA) Executive Vice-President Wayne LaPierre is
just another pathetic example of how the Clinton-controlled media refuse to
face the truth.
LaPierre’s assertions that the Clinton regime wants to maintain a certain
level of violence to further its gun control agenda is absolutely correct and
directly on point. I will go further to assert that the Clinton regime is
happy to use children as fodder and sacrificial lambs if it will scare the
people of this nation into accepting more and more restrictions on all of
their freedoms, especially the right to own firearms.
What other inference can be drawn by Mr. LaPierre or any other reasonable
person? There are more than 20,000 firearms-related laws on the books, one of
the most recent being the Brady Bill, passed in September of 1994.
The goal of the Clinton administration is obvious: to foster gun violence
by not enforcing existing laws and then seeking more and more gun control
measures to ultimately disarm law-abiding citizens. Sorry, Clinton, that’s
not ever going to happen.
