I was talking to a friend last night, and he brought up an interesting point, one I’d like to pass along to the anti-gunners.

Let’s assume for the sake of argument that you can accomplish your goals and make our guns illegal and demand that we all turn them in. How many families are you willing to kill to accomplish your goals? Many people will not willingly give up their rights – it’s a very American trait. How many Ruby Ridge’s will you happily see to pass and enforce your laws?

You say that you want to get rid of guns to reduce violence and protect children. History has proved that if it comes to the point of confiscation, the feds will shoot first, including children, and sort it out later.
