H.R. 1179, introduced by Ron Paul (R-TX),would fully repeal the Brady act among other pro-gun things. In effect this bill would unleash a flood of pro-gun rights by;
1. Fully repeal the Brady Registration Law.
2. Overturn the Assault Weapons Ban.
3. Eliminate the 10-round magazine limit.
4. Prevent the BATF from suspending FFL’s because of zoning regulations.
5. Eliminate the “Sporting Purposes” clause, which was used to ban new imported rifles. (3/20/99) Currently with 4 co-sponsor (6/2/00)

I knew there was something I liked about Ron Paul. He has COMMON SENSE!
