I know you mean well. Both you and I seek the safety of every man,
woman and child in existence. You think that by passing a law banning
guns, that somehow children will be safer.

To believe that, you must have an incredible, vast ignorance of history.

History, which continues to teach the same lessons right up until
present day, has shown that time and again that: 1) guns save lives; and
2) civilian disarmament has always preceded slavery and mass slaughter.

You remember the ‘never again’ lesson of National Socialists versus Jews
don’t you? A little under 6 million Jews, disarmed, then slaughtered,
accompanied by millions of other enemies of the state for a total
between 11 and 13 million. The Germans weren’t the only ones: the
Soviets and Red Chinese have slaughtered TEN TIMES that amount while
they were in power, accompanied by the State actors of Turkey, Cambodia,
Algeria, Uganda and Yugoslavia. According to Professor Rummel of the
University of Hawaii, between 170-to-300 MILLION citizens have been
slaughtered by their own or occupying armies in this century alone.

Can’t happen here you say? Ask any Indian about Wounded Knee and
countless other attacks by U.S. Cavalry troops against Indian men, women
and children. Ask how they kept the slaves in line both before and
after the Civil War (see the Black Codes). More recently, how
jack-booted troops have shot a 14 year old boy in the back as he ran
away, a mother holding an infant in her arms at Ruby Ridge, and
immolated 80 Americans at Waco. How the dreaded midnight raid — once
thought of only as a terroristic measure used by totalitaran governments
— is now Standard Operating Procedure, as was so clearly demonstrated
on poor Elian. Have you forgotten?

In contrast to these millions, you weep for a pitifully small amount of
criminal-caused deaths, whose absolute number have been declining, and
call it an ‘epidemic.’ If there is an epidemic, it is one of lies and
propaganda directed against our Constitution by the likes of gun-toting
Diane Feinstein and yourself.

The majority of deaths caused by firearms are attributable to suicide.
The second largest chunk of the remaining deaths can be chalked up to
inner-city gangbangers fighting over bad drug deals and turf wars. Of
the school and other mass public shootings, the vast majority of these
shootings have taken place where guns were ‘illegal.’ And many of these
shootings can be attributed to kids who were strung out on state-induced
ritalin, luvox and halcion. Al this information is public knowledge.
Why do you ignore it? Why?

To continue to believe what you espouse, you have to ignore how the vast
majority of our gun-related crime is taking place where civilians cannot
shoot back. Has anyone successfully shot up a police station or even
their favorite donut shop? No. And why not? Think, man, think!

People are safer when they can defend themselves. What kind of
contorted logic must you twist through you mind to arrive at the
conclusion that anyone — other than criminals and bad governments –
will be made safer by being made defenseless?

Even your goddess, Rosie O’Donnell, shill for those ignorant and
contemptuous of our Constitution, has arrived at the conclusion that her
child will be SAFER when accompanied by an armed guard.

Make yourself defenseless. Feel free. However, by attacking MY rights,
you have established yourself as a sworn enemy to freedom and the
Constitution.
