On CBS News up to the minute last night they had a report from London
that told how England and Wales are now much more dangerous than the
United States. I was somewhat surprised at the truth coming from CBS
News, but it shows what I have said often — having worked in the
journalism profession, I know there are some there horrified by all the
lies and slanting of news. These guys could only get on in the middle
of the night with this, but people should email them commending them,
and email ABC and NBC asking why they missed the story (they hate
getting scooped).

The reporter said you are more likely to be burgled in the UK than the
US. You are twice as likely to be robbed and 2.5 times as likely to be
assaulted. They even put up comparison charts on the crime rates per
capita for each of these crimes.

Of course, they did not get to the point about guns and gun laws.

Experts came on to proclaim that it is the tougher sentencing laws in
the US causing the long years of crime stats dropping in the US.

Mo mention was made of the English turning in their handguns while the
Americans have been adding handguns to the arsenal at a
several-million-per-year rate.

no mention of the concealed carry laws in the US contrasted with
confiscation laws in UK.

That cite alone will beat back the commies who continually try to say we
should be more like England when it comes to guns and crime.

Using government stats is nowhere near as effective as using the commie
media’s reports as a source.
