“NO MORE INFRINGEMENTS. NOT ONE MORE!”

The Supreme Court Justice Stewart Potter once said:

“I can’t define pornography, but I know it, when I see it.”

How many times have you walked about, got a whiff of something… you
can’t describe precisely what you smell, but you know you smell something
that shouldn’t be there or wasn’t there the last time you were around.
Well, I can’t define corruption, but I know it when I not only see it,
but hear it, read it, and smell it.

Something’s in the air right now…and I can smell it….and I don’t
like it, not one bit!!

The fact of the matter is, that the facts of the matter are not being
TRUTHFULLY reported, either by the mouth doing the talking, or the
press doing the printing. I made this up. But..I think it’s a good
statement on which to hang your hat.

I’m gonna give you a for instance.

Back in October, of ’99…I wrote to a U.S. Senator, by the name of Joe
Lieberman, who has been dubbed by the press as, “the conscience of the
Senate”, so-much-so, that he won’t do anything, go anywhere after sundown,
on any given Friday, because the next day is his Sabbath. He’s that
devoted.

I asked him – point blank – “Which part of shall not be infringed do you
not understand?”, in reference, of course, to the Second Amendment in our
Bill of Rights. I’ll get to his answer, directly. I also informed him I
would be happy to explain the Amendment to him, should he not understand
that portion. I can only surmise that senators don’t appreciate common
folk explaining anything, to them, for he never asked.

I want to tell you about this “conscience” of the Senate. I very vividly
recall and can still see him, making his passionate, debasing and wordy
rebuke of his president, William Jefferson Clinton, prior to his senate
vote on that impeachment. The press universally published his statement…
in which he decried Clinton’s perjury and obstruction of justice as
inexcusable…..B-U-T….he didn’t think that – meaning the two charges -
rose to the level of impeachment. Indeed it did not. It actually SUNK to
the right level.

The “conscience” of the Senate voted NO…against impeachment. I can
only guess that somewhere along the line, between his public rebuke, and
his vote…his “conscience” took flight.

When I wrote asking -back in October – a precise and very direct one
sentence question “Which part of ‘shall not be infringed’ do you
not understand?”, This, is the answer I received, to that question.

Dear…….

“Thank you for contacting me to request my views about the Constitution of
the United States.”

I didn’t ask him about HIS VIEWS of our Constitution. I asked a one sentence
question. “Which part of shall not be infringed do you not understand?”

He went on to say…and you’re gonna love this….”I am also a strong believer
in the Bill of Rights, which are a series of prohibitions on the enactment by
Congress of laws infringing certain rights.”

He lists of the 1st Amend… “Right to freedom of religion, speech and press.”
Actually, there’s a lot more to it, than that. He then goes to the 2nd Amend…”
Right to keep and bear arms in common defense.”

Hold it, right there!

THAT IS NOT WHAT THE 2ND AMENDMENT SAYS….AT ALL.

Nowhere is it written or any mention or hint that that this applies SOLELY
for “common defense.” I don’t know what Bill of Rights he was reading – he
wasn’t of course, his secretary was – but that’s not what it says in MY copy.
My copy says, “The right of the people”…PEOPLE…. IS…..PLURAL…”to keep
and bear arms shall not be infringed…”, which was my query.

By this, you can ascertain that we have elected officials VOTING AGAINST US,
at every turn…because he and too many of the rest can not read nor
comprehend, and his answer to me proves this.

We DO have a paper that says, “provide for the common defense” meaning an
army…but that’s in the PREAMBLE to the Constitution…it’s NOT in Art. 2
of the Bill of rights!!! One must expect though, that the “conscience” of
the Senate is too busy to pay attention to details….that may very well
hang us all.

That should work…should you care to chat with him. While you’re at it, you
might want a chat with your own. Maybe Joe isn’t the only one who can’t read.

That Bill of Rights is not the property of the U.S. Government – nor the
Congress not the Supreme Court. It belongs to WE, The People. It is our only
armor AGAINST them.
