Ok, folks. I have been going round and round trying to find out why 7-11 was on the NRA-ILA list of anti-gun businesses. They swear that they aren’t anti-gun, and don’t take a position one way or the other. I finally got in touch with NRA-ILA and asked them what the scoop was.

Apparently, 7-11 has a no-gun policy with their employees. Although 7-11 is a frequent target of violence and robberies, the administration prohibits employees from having guns. Regardless of whether or not they have a CCW. I’ve e-mailed 7-11 again and requested confirmation of this, and I will keep you all posted on their response.

Till then, the gas card goes back in the drawer…and no more slurpies!
