Someone needs to respond to this quickly & I’m being called to a meeting so I can’t till this evening. This morning on the way into work I heard real nastiness from a commentator named Joe Davidson of BET on NPR’s Morning Edition. You cna pull up the sound file on the NPR website (I don’t have the URL -sorry -you’ll have to do web search). Here are the statements I remember:

Emerson pulled a gun on his wife (no mention of her behavior, or that it was an unsubstantiated allegation)

Emerson ruling called an “aberration”

refered to Miller (not by name, but as a 1939 case) as a ruling in favor of gun control

The basic garbage – but it needs a fast response. Preferably an INUNDATION of responses. I THINK this is the first “major media” coverage of the case??
