Man found stabbed in motel room

A 36-year-old Marietta man was found stabbed to death Sunday afternoon at a
motel on Delk Road off I-75, Marietta police said. The victim’s identity was
not released. Lt. Jim Spradley said a maid discovered the body in a Motel 6
room. Investigators believe the victim, who was stabbed several times,
struggled with his attacker.

FULTON COUNTY: Accused is identified in wife’s fatal stabbing

Roswell police on Sunday identified Urbano Rodriguez-Garcia, 29, as the man
arrested in the Saturday morning stabbing death of his wife. Police say
Rodriguez-Garcia stabbed his 25-year-old wife with a large knife at the
Tahoe Apartments on Holcomb Bridge Road. The woman was identified by the
Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office as Tina Rodriguez-Garcia.Her husband
was charged with murder. Sgt. James McGee said Sunday police were still
questioning the husband, who does not speak English, and some neighbors. The
couple’s two young children were not hurt and have been placed in the care
of relatives.
