According to them, total firearm accidental deaths are as follows:

1994 = 1,356.
1995 = 1,225,
1996 = 1,134.

Example breakdown for 1996:
handgun = 187,
shotgun = 93,
hunting rifle = 50,
other & uspecified frearm = 804.
