Gun Facts version 3.0 is now available!

The Basic Info:

Download from http://members.home.com/guys/guns.html
Forward this email to all your pro-gun, pro-freedom friends

Notes On This Version:
Version 3.0 is a significant overhaul from version 2.2. Input from a
growing legion of readers has helped to make this a much better work.
I only wish I could incorporate all the suggestions and data people
have forwarded to me.

Of particular note:

Cites are more accurate
Data representation on many charts has been improved
Charts and tables are more readable after printing in black and white
Special sections and emphasis added for licensing and registration issues
More depth on assault weapon myths
Some good natured doctor bashing
General clean-up and more

Distribution:
As always, once you download Gun Facts, you are free to send copies
to whomever you like, print-out and give away copies, etc. The only
rules are:

1.
Don’t alter any of the document
2.
Don’t charge anyone money for copies, electronic or otherwise

On my web site there are two versions for downloading. The smaller
is best for personal use and electronic distribution. The larger has
been optimized for printing and is twice the size. If you intend to
print copies, the press optimized version should be used as the
resolution is much better.

Printed Copies:
In the next week I will send another email noting where pre-printed
versions can be obtained. I have worked with a short-run printer in
the past who can produce small quantities with a color cover for a
good price. I’ll let you know the details after I get the new
pricing and procedures.

For Web Masters:
I will wait until noon on Monday, July 9th before making a general
announcement about the availability of Gun Facts 3.0. If you put Gun
Facts on your web site, please have it staged before then (please
check the URLs listed on the last page of Gun Facts 3.0 to see where
I think you have it staged currently). If you are a web master that
would like to host a copy, feel free to do so. Send me the URL for
where the book can be found and I will include the link in version
3.1. [email protected]

Special Thanks:
My heart felt thanks to those that volunteered to proof-read this
version. Many people came to the plate, and most hit a homer. A
special thanks to Paul W. who snail-mailed me a printed copy with
copious notes, and to David C. who found the most errors.
