Lautenberg Amendment Hurts Military

Political correctness run amok. American soldiers may not be able to fight
in the War on Terrorism, even overseas, if convicted of domestic violence
under Lautenberg (who was just re-elected) Amendment.

“That meant they could not qualify at a (military firing) range, and had to
be assigned to positions which did not allow them to have access to a
weapon.”

AND

“Officers would also be non-deployable for missions, since they would be
prohibited from having access to firearms or ammunition,”
