I’m doing a report for school (a persuasive report) and I picked to write mine on the 2nd amendment. This is the opening i have written.. can you please tell me what you think for the opening

Imagine waking up one morning and reading in the newspaper that you no longer had the rights that you went to bed having. Imgine not being able to express your opinion, not be able to have your freedome of religion or not being able to defend you and your family.
Freedom is a precious commodity in today’s world with the current issue of war looming over us. In this time we often look to our constitution and to what our founders wanted this country to become. Our founders prized freedome and wrote the constitution to tell people what rights we have as citizens of this so-called free country. But we are not free. Everday a freedome that we prize is one step closer to being taken away from us. For Example, everytime we turn around the gov’t has put another restriction on one fo the most important constituional rights: the Right to Keep and Bear arms
