A Lesson From History
Over two hundred years ago ships carrying settlers from all walks of life and many nationalities sailed to what they saw as a new world , freedom and a place to escape various oppressions as well as tto build the kind of lives they wanted.
On the other side of the sea was a rich man with a rich government and powerful army. (let us not forget that the army of England kept their poor and undesirables in the front lines to be killed first and protect the “upper crust” who had paid their way into the ranks). That rich man sought to control the settlers who’s country he had never seen and would never visit, who’s life style he knew nothing of, very much like the celebrities and politicians who are currently trying to ban our weapons so they can imagine how much safer they feel in their paranoia.
It took the combined efforts of farmers, businessmen, and different nationalities-and their firepower-for seven long years to run the oppression out of the country they had struggled to build. It took nearly thirty more years to bring the continued attempts to overthrow their government to a stop.
As usual, the rich wanted to control the not so rich, and would not take no for an answer, and the culture growing in the new world could not have been different.
Generations later a funny little man with a strange moustache also decided that his way was the right way. A way which meant to litterally breed a perfect race, and which would rule by tyranny, again destroying any undesirable or any opposition. This time the targets were jews, homosexuals, blacks and various others. Once completely disarmed, they were overrun and nearly exterminated. In that same century over one hundred million more victims would join as the rich and influential sought to force their way on the weak, first of course, after disarming them.
With the help of their government friends, the Feinsteins, Boxers, and countless others, the rich again are attempting to open the door so that tyrants, killers and real dangers might come in unhindered. For some reason the movie stars and business people think they would be immune from national occupation.
If you think the United Nations wants “world peace” through glabal disarmament (when no one is stupid enough to buy that except the most gulible), if you think Rosie and Barbera have our kids in mind when they want to ban our guns (while their own security carries guns to protect THEIR kids, or if you think we are too developed of a society for anyone to land on our soil and turn our lives into a military dictatorship, then one hundred and seventy million victims and the military men and women who rose up in opposition to them and are buried with them would like you to think again!
