Hi guys
Just thought I’d drop a little note to say lots of good reading here like always. I do enjoy the new bits of info. Just got back from a reenactment. It’s worth noting, at least to me, that we had hundreds of men, armed with sabers, bayonets, rifles and pistols, ah yes, and canons. We fired them all and covered the ground with cartridges.
Why’s this matter? Because they are real guns, which can fire real bullets, and out of thousands of spent rounds not one man or woman was harmed in any way. We inspected each and every gun before each battle to make sure they worked correctly and were clean. To define clean, we meam no remnants or rings from bullets which could fly out and hurt anyone. Those who are not responsible and dont clean guns can have that happen. But we practice real gun control. We make sure we behave responsibly. I wonder what the anti gun zealots would have to say about us. I cleaned mine in the parking lot, and no one freaked, they just didn’t care for my blue uniform. Not here in the south baby!
Had a great time, best regards to the forum. The good guys are still goin’ strong.
