Think about the things the opposition cry about on the “assault weapons”. Pistol grips. Oooh, scary. How many times has a pistol grip hurt you? Bayonets, (only on certain guns) The bayonet is not the part of a rifle I worry about. Large capacity magazines. Great for target shooting, but I would hope any responsible gun owner is a good enough shot that they don’t need 20-50 shots to hit the mark. They claim to be worried about the criminals killing the police and law-abiding citizens(I assume not gun owners). How often do these criminals legally purchase a firearm? They can get them cheaper and easier on the street. Ban these weapons? From who? Someone who wants to hunt with the weapon of their choice, or target shoot for enjoyment. Can’t have that,can we?
