..but a buddy of mine chided me for comments I made concerning Jane Fonda and Sean Penn and their supposed “fact-finding” missions to Hanoi many years ago and Baghdad just recently. Since all either of them accompliashed was to give a propaganda victory to our adversaries I was (and I still do) call them traitors. My answering email read:

“Yeah, it is pathetic that scum like that can betray the country and they can still be millionaires (in Hanoi-Janes case she’s a “BILLIONAIRE” thanks to a few years of “working under” Ted Turner) while some grunt with a pack on his back and rifle in his hands has to go overseas dodge AKM bullets and roadside boobie-traps in 115 degree heat for $1385.40 per month (E-3 with 2 years in) plus combat pay (What is that? $100. a month?).

Makes me sick that Sean Penn can give aid and comfort to a mass murderer/Terrorist and then come back to America and drive his Porsche around Beverly Hills chasing women and sipping Wine Coolers while that grunt drives a HUMMER through Baghdad with a canteen of tepid water on his belt!”

I doubt I have to explain the connection between this Penn/Fonda kind of Anti-American behavior and the gun-grabbers to this forum….many of you know it as well as me!
