AWB’s accomplishments in ten years
As far as I can see, here is the record of the AWB’s accomplishments.

1) Spike in sales of assault style weapons…both right after the ban started, and another coming right after the ban has ended.

2) Millions of gun owners jolted into awareness that yes, many in the government really do want to take your guns away.

3) Crushing electoral defeats for antis (translate: mostly Democrats) in the House, Senate, White House, Gubernatorial races.

4) Gains in political power for the NRA and other gun rights groups.

5) A new-found determined outlook of “never again” amongst gun owners.

6)The dozens of sub-compact pistols we now have to choose from thanks to the 10 round limit…

7)People forgetting the value of an accurate rifle with beutiful wood.
8)People having to fight to make sub-standard magazines function properly.
9)Drasticly increased intrest in military style arms and history.
10)Drastic increase in the number of C&R 03 FFL holders.
11) 10 round 1911 magazines.
12) 10 round rifle magazines for rifles which previously only held 3-5.

Hm… when you put it that way, the ban hasn’t really been all that bad, has it? Thanks, Di-Fi!
