Dixie Chicks Strike Again, At Their Own Fans (Hunters Too)

Dixie Chicks lead singer Natalie Maines doesn’t think much
of Dixie Chicks fans, especially those pickup owning hunters.
Listed below is from the last paragraph of John Leo’s column
entitled “The Loudmouth Emmys” on page 80 of the December
6th issue of U.S. News & World Report.

“Natalie Maines, apparently surprised that many Dixie Chicks
fans hated her famous anti-Bush comments of 2003, said,
‘I realize I’m just supposed to sing and look cute so our
fans won’t have anything to upset them while they’re
cheating on their wives or driving around in their pickup
trucks shooting small animals.’ ”
