From what I understand, the police in New Orleans are CONFISCATING GUNS THE CITIZENS ARE TRYING TO PROTECT THEMSELVES WITH SO THAT ONLY THE POLICE WILL HAVE GUNS, EXCEPT FOR THE PRIVATE SECURITY HIRED BY RICH PEOPLE! This in the face of the police screaming for help when they admit that roaming bands of outlaws, rapists, robbers and murderers are going unchecked because there is not near enough law enforcement.

Let me get this straight: If you are stuck in New Orleans in a house with no power, water for a floor, no communication, no food or water and are barely suviving, surrounded by dead rotting people, you should sit in this hell hole with no means of protection and wait for the police, who blatantly admit they cannot help you and may not know you are there? There are people who actually think this is a great idea.
