REGISTRY SUPPORTERS OVERLOOK GRIM TRUTH

KUDOS FOR Sarah Kennedy’s fine article “Gun registry cash ‘better spent’
hiring more cops.” More and more people are starting to see the registry
for what it is, an AdScam style rip-off where huge contracts go to
Liberal friendly companies in exchange for work of questionable value.
The homicide rate in Canada has been climbing since the registry came
into full effect. It is hard to understand how anyone could support
spending $2 billion to have more murders. Perhaps it is time for someone
to explain the word “irony” to the registry’s handful of supporters.
