Focus on crime control

Stats Canada tells us the homicide rate is going up – the highest levels
in a decade.

The gun control lobby tells us that shootings of specific types,
committed with specific types of guns, are down.

So, 10 years of police effort and $2 billion tax dollars spent on
Liberal “gun control” has managed to increase the number of people
killed, just fewer of them are getting killed with specific types of
guns.

Maybe it’s time to stop wasting resources in an endless pursuit of
safety via bureaucratic gun control and start focusing on street-level
crime control.
