When Maclean’s readers were asked if they thought the federal government should maintain the federal long-gun registry in light of the recent Montreal shooting at Dawson College, an overwhelming 81 per cent of our voters answered no.

Our forums closely reflected our polls, with the majority of posters being against the gun registry, and gun control in general.
