Dramatic increase in women hunting and shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C.-A newly released survey by the National Sporting Goods
Association (NSGA) suggests there has been a dramatic increase in female
participation in hunting and shooting. According to the survey, there
are 72 percent more women hunting with firearms today than there were 5
years ago, and 50 percent more women are now target shooting. Other
findings of female participation in hunting and shooting from 2001
through 2005 include:
