Man faces firearms charges

A 42-year-old Red Deer man was charged with firearms offences after
police searched a residence in Oriole Park this week. Two shotguns and
one pellet gun were seized by police who had obtained a search warrant
on Thursday. Four people from the residence were taken into custody.
Three people are still being investigated.

Ronald Frank Nish was charged on Friday with possessing a firearm while
prohibited, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and failing to live up
to court-ordered terms. Nish is to appear in Red Deer provincial court
on Tuesday.
