Why Do People Want Guns?

Because…

1- People want to maintain their inherent right to
liberty, freedom requires it.

2- A free state requires an armed population to secure it
from tyranny from within and invasion from without.

3- Servitude is the consequence and the punishment of a
disarmed nation.

4- Rioters and criminals in general are as much a threat
to the personal safety of the law-abiding people as they
are to the safety of the police.

5- The police, having already admitted that they cannot
protect the people, may need to call upon law-abiding
members of their community, who should be proficient in
the proper use of firearms, to give assistance.

6- The people-at-large know that they are the reserve
militia of the United States, and because Article 1,
Section 8 (16) of the United states Constitution
authorizes the Congress to draw upon their ranks in order
to increase the size of the army for purposes of insuring
the safety of the United States in times of danger, the
people need to be previously prepared in the proficient
use of firearms when called to duty.

7- Firearms are the people’s palladium of authority over
public officials who have taken an oath of office to
support and defend the Constitution.

8- The people intend to preserve their firearms
palladium, the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights,
which is the ‘keystone’ amendment, a guardian, that
backstops the other nine amendments; all nine of which,
for their own existence, depend completely upon the
continued existence of the Second Amendment.

9- The people need firearms in order to protect
themselves against the injustice and the abuse of public
officials who wrongfully opt to punish innocent people
for crimes committed by criminals who use guns for
ill-purposes.

10- History has proven, time-and-time again, that the
ONLY WAY in which people can maintain their essential,
natural, and inherent rights is to reserve to themselves
a time-proven form of force.
