During his six terms as a Republican Congressman from Wyoming, Dick Cheny was solidly pro-gun. Maybe it’s because he was representing Wyoming, or perhaps he really believes that ordinary people have the right to keep and bear arms.

It’s a sure bet that whomever Al Gore picks as a running mate (or who would consent to be his veep) will rate an “F” on gun issues.

If you live in a state that’s a toss up (e.g., Pa., Ill., or Mich.), don’t throw away your vote on a third party candidate who doesn’t have a prayer. Hold your nose and vote for G.W.
