ATTN SC Folks: An excellent local pro 2A Organization

March 1st, 2012

Grass Roots South Carolina will hold its monthly meeting this coming Monday
November 8, 1999 at Captain George’s Restaurant on Knox Abbott Dr. in Cayce, SC
at 6:30 pm. The meeting is an hour in length and basically is an update report
from each GRSC officer/staff in attendance. Discussion items this month will
definitely include (but not be limited to) the Flier II Project, CWP Reform
Legislation, SCCWPIA Update (Instructor Association), GRSC Financial Status,
Community Volunteer Project status.

Prior to our working meeting, we generally gather for informal fellowship and
dinner starting at 5:45pm. I will be there to answer any questions regarding
GRSC, CWP issues, etc. I am also asking GRSC officers to arrive prior to our
scheduled meeting to share fellowship and answer questions about GRSC and CWP
reform.

After our scheduled meeting ends (at 7:30pm), there is a meeting of the
Mid-Carolina Rifle Club in the same meeting room. If you are interested in
joining a very active, shooting range in the Midlands consider attending this
meeting. Visitors are welcome. Reports are given from all of the shooting
disciplines – IPSA, Bullseye, IDPA, High Power Rifle, Cowboy Action,
Blackpowder, Metalic Silhoutte, and Juniors (who’d I miss?) as well as
legislative liaison and Grass Roots reports. It’s a well spent, informative,
and frequently entertaining hour. A call for new members is held at the end of
the meeting and new members are inducted into the club after the ceremonial
blackpowder face painting (just kidding of course – a desire to shoot in a safe
environment is all that’s required). Come have dinner with fellow, like-minded
folks and enjoy shooting fellowship.

All the best!
