Biker wars

March 1st, 2012

Last night I was looking for information on a weekend motorcycle rally in Beorne, Texas and came across a site where news of interest to OUTLAW bikers was posted. I started reading and was suprised to learn that almost every other article did not come from the United States, as you’d expect. Instead they came from Canada and Australia. (Remember just a couple of days ago we had a whining little weasel telling us how great it was down under and how screwed up we were in the US?)

Almost every article from these two places mentioned someone getting shot or a raid with firearms recovered. Since, as I said, most of the articles were from there it was only occasionally that you’d run across a piece about an outlaw in Galveston (Texas) County, or somewhere.

Canada, in particular, with it’s strict gun control policy, has a nasty, bloody biker war going on. The Hells Angels MC and the Banditoes MC are shooting it out on a pretty regular basis for control of the drug trade there. Someone gets shot from the other gang about every other week.

In Australia, the police are making raids against Gypsy Joker MC and Outlaw MC hideouts, recovering pill presses and firearms. While gang members still shoot each other it’s not quite as bloody as the drug war in Quebec..not quite.

Anyway, we were just told that the violence has ended in these places because of the forward thinking (?) liberals who made it illegal to have a firearm. Certainly an individual who intends to commit murder will be jerked up short when he realizes that he can’t legally carry a gun! Wouldn’t he?

More likely, as seems to have happened, gangs like this get bolder when they know that they are the only ones armed. When they get bolder that’s bad news for all of us.
