Time to admit gun registry huge mistake

I wonder if police forces and law enforcement agencies, who are forced
to deal with increasing murders and assaults with handguns and other
firearms, are availing themselves of the gun registry to solve these
crimes and track down the criminals involved.

I would make a wild guess that the gun registry has been no help and has
not been used in solving any crime.

The money being poured into this useless program must be diverted into
areas that will help our police forces in their struggle against the
culture of violence in our large urban centers.

Why will our federal government not bite the bullet (no pun intended)
and admit that the gun registry was a huge mistake?
