FIREARMS OWNERS NOW URGED NOT TO COMPLY WITH C-68

4,000 WOMEN’S SHELTERS COULD HAVE BEEN BUILT WITH A BILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF
WASTED TAX DOLLARS ON WACKY REGISTRY

LUFA opposes the latest gun control legislation, C-68 and urges gun owners
to rally to break the law by not registering their firearms by January 1st,
2003.

Bruce Hutton, founder of the Law-Abiding Unregistered Firearms Association,
said there is “no gun problem in Canada.” He added the feds would do better
to, instead, fund real issues facing Canadians.

An effective way to make the nation safer would be to rescind Bill C-68,
which requires owners to register firearms, and replace it with laws aimed
at criminals, he said. “Obviously, non-compliance is one of the cornerstones
of our campaign,” Hutton said from Rocky Mountain House yesterday.

FEDS SQUANDERING MONEY

Hutton, who lost his wife to cancer recently, is irate Ottawa invests
millions more on its misguided gun-control measures than it does on cancer
research and other vital issues. “It’s a travesty really,” he said.

“If it’s working, why is spousal homicide up for the first time in years?
The government could have built 4,000 women’s shelters across the country
with money they’ve spent (on gun control.)”

No the CFC is just not telling the truth to Canadians and it’s up to gun
owners to hold them accountable.
