CLDF Supporters,
This morning, New York mayor, Rudy Giuliani, announced that the
city is suing the gun manufacturers for negligent marketing,
distribution, and advertising.
It is quite clear that the gun control advocates will not rest
until the gun manufacturers and our right to keep and bear arms
are completely destroyed.
They will not rest until they have recruited as many cities as
necessary to bring the industry to its knees through their abusive
use of the courts.
That is why it is imperative that we raise the funds needed to
file a lawsuit on behalf of gun owners against the cities that
are conspiring to violate our Second Amendment rights.
To date, we have raised over half of our originally stated goal
of $100,000; however, we must raise the other half in order to
proceed with this lawsuit.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS LAWSUIT A REALITY!
Many of you have already contributed to this worthy project either
financially or by assisting with our fundraising campaign. We thank
you for your support and ask for your continued support as we near
the filing date for this lawsuit.
If we are unable to reach our fundraising goals, we will be forced
to choose a smaller scale, less effective method of fighting for
our Second Amendment rights. None of us want to see that happen.
As each day passes, as each lawsuit is filed, we know that nothing
short of a full-scale legal battle will do. That is what our Founding
Fathers would expect, that is what the Constitution deserves.
