CROOKS STEAL GUNS FROM COPS
Some of the anti-gun extremists want laws to force you to lock up your
protection, claiming it will keep kids and crooks from getting any guns.
Great theory, but crooks will steal stuff, even when securely locked up.
ON december 8th, a crook grabbed the gun away from a Salt Lake City
policeman and fired at him several times before escaping (with the
stolen gun). If anyone wants to make an issue out of legally owned
machine guns stolen from a collector’s securely locked storage facility,
remind them of the following incident last month in Idaho: “Federal and
local police…were searching Monday for weapons stolen from an FBI
agent’s car. The car, a 1998 Blazer, was not marked as a police vehicle
and was parked in front of the agent’s home when a neighbor noticed
driver’s side windows were broken out. A loaded H&K 9mm MP-5 and a
shotgun with four slugs were taken from the car….It is the second time
this year a submachine gun was stolen from an FBI vehicle. An agent in !
Spokane was similarly victimized in early April, prompting a tougher
policy there for locking down items in cars.” There are hundreds of
marked and unmarked law enforcement vehicles sitting in driveways in
Utah every night.
