A delegation from 15 sports shooting groups will be meeting with P.E.I.
MPs Monday morning urging them to support legislation to abolish the gun
registry.

The groups will meet with Egmont MP Joe McGuire and Malpeque MP Wayne
Easter at Easter’s constituency office in Hunter River Monday morning at
9 a.m.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Conservative government proposes to
abolish the gun registry. That has met with opposition from some urban
Canadians and police groups.

The delegation want the P.E.I. MPs to support Conservative legislation.
