Felony Assualt–by CARROT. Time to ban minors from grocery stores.

DETROIT Yes, carrots are supposed to be good for eyes, but not if they are hurled at them from across a room.
An 11-year-old boy has been charged with felonious assault for allegedly doing just that: chucking a carrot slice right at his middle school teacher?s eye.
The boy was being held late last week in a juvenile detention facility, charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. If convicted, he could face a variety of penalties, including time in a boys training school.
The boy was also apparently throwing carrot pieces at his classmates at Murphy Middle School. But teacher Lee Williams got the worst of it. One of the chunks hit her in the eye, leaving it red and swollen, police said.
After throwing the carrots, the boy then ran away from the school, but returned the following morning and started bragging about what he?d done the day before. He ran away again before police arrived, but returned an hour later and pulled the school?s fire alarm, police said.
He finally was caught by a teacher after pulling the alarm, was suspended, and taken into custody.
