remarkable than last year for Front Sight and our students.
We are booming as we continue to build Front Sight, Nevada-
the world’s only resort providing defensive firearms

Highlights:
Construction continues!
Front Sight’s world class, Rope and
Rappelling Wall is nearing completion. You have to see the
rope, rappelling, and rock climbing area that we are
constructing to truly appreciate the enormity of the project
and the vast array of rope related courses we will offer.
When completed, Front Sight’s Rope Program will satisfy the
needs of corporate team building, first time rock climbers
to extreme climbers, as well as high speed special
operations and advanced rescue teams. Something for
everybody from the novice to expert all done in the same
professional, lifetime student, exchange-in-abundance manner
that has driven Front Sight to the top of the firearms
training industry.
8,300 square foot permanent classroom to begin construction.
Final preparations are now being made to begin the
foundation of an 8300 square foot permanent classroom. Once
the permanent classroom is completed, we will use our
current 5000 square foot classroom as a temporary martial
arts gymnasium and begin our martial arts courses in the
Fall.
All of the 360 degree live-fire simulator ranges of Phase
One are now completed so we are beginning to construct 12
permanent shooting houses with reactive target systems.
We are also completing the final plans for Front Sight’s
Safari Base Camp and outdoor, live-fire hunting simulators
to operate in conjunction with Front Sight’s newly released,
Special Hunter’s Rifle Courses. Watch for an e-mail

Four Day, Firearms Instructor Development Course June 14-17
to Expand Our World Class Instructional Staff! Our student
base continues to grow rapidly. If you have what it takes to
be a world class firearms instructor, and want to join an

REQUIREMENTS OF A FRONT SIGHT INSTRUCTOR
1. The ability to perform on demand, exactly,what you are
teaching to the students.
2. A strong desire and ability to impart your knowledge and
expertise to the students.
3. Voice, posture, vocabulary, and appearance that secures
the student’s respect for your position as their
instructor.
4. High moral and ethical character which leaves you
behaving in an exemplary manner on and off the range.
5. A memory that allows you to always remember what it is
like to be a student.
6. The integrity to teach your course exactly as it is
outlined in Front Sight’s curriculum with no alteration
to the instructional doctrine.
Whether an instructor has actually experienced a lethal
confrontation and shot for blood is really a question of
circumstance and occupation. It is true that the experience
of winning a gun fight lends some additional credibility to
the words of the instructor. However, a gun fight under
one’s belt does not, in itself, make a good instructor.
Those who dwell on such issues soon reveal that they lack
the more important instructional qualities that truly make
the difference in a student’s performance. With that said,
let me assure you that Front Sight’s staff has collectively
“seen the elephant” numerous times. If you are looking for

Arts Courses in the Fall. Ours will be a curriculum
offering numerous disciplines in one day to four day,
intensified formats. We are not interested in teaching
Eastern philosophy or developing Black Belts. Rather, Front
Sight will provide street proven techniques from a variety
of disciplines that you can count on to defend yourself
against armed and unarmed attacks. Using the same Front
Sight methods of instruction that allow us, in four days, to
take a novice shooter and bring them up to levels that
exceed those who carry a gun for a living, martial arts
students will leave Front Sight, with a command of the
specific techniques taught and be able to deliver their life
saving skills on demand. We are now placing a call for the
world’s best martial arts instructors to send resumes,
videos, and any information that would clearly demonstrate
why their discipline and instructional ability should be
considered for inclusion in Front Sight’s Martial Arts
Courses. Those instructors selected from resumes received
will be invited to a special, week long Martial Arts
