GEORGIA HUNTING ACCIDENTS DOWN . . . Hunting accidents this season in Georgia have continued to decline, a downward trend that began in the 1970s, the Augusta Chronicle reports. Just 26 incidents have been reported so far, and only one fatality, which occurred when a hunter fell while exiting a tree stand, according to the state Wildlife Resources Division.
