Girls, want to get involved?

March 1st, 2012

This is from a friend of mine who organizes counter demonstrations. One notable thing he did was organize a counter rally at a local gun shop. When the supporters of freedom outnumbered the protesters, the news media packed up without covering it at all…..no news can be good news. I like his idea about countering this particular protest, and I’m willing to get tables at the big gun shows here in Washington to get people involved, I am willing to go to the larger gun shops and post information and coordinate a local event on the same days these protests go on throughout the country. That is, unless we girls want to coordinate and hit the event itself, and I’ll work on the fundraising with the MS Gun Club. Anyway, below is the post, I think it’s a worthy cause, especially for the WAGC. And we can do this regionally.
Do you know about the following plans by the anti-gun people?

A friend of mine had an idea that if implemented correctly could be of great
use to our side. The idea is for hundreds or thousands of women to have
4177 pairs of panties (the number of rapes that would have been avoided
yearly had right to carry laws been in effect in the rest of the states –
according to John Lott Jr.) laying on the ground similar to the empty shoes
thing by the other side.

It might be possible that I can get some financial support from the
Microsoft Gun Club (and possibly other places as well) for things like
travel and stuff like that. Not a lot, but probably non-trivial.

I’ve briefly discussed this with John Barnett (from The Second Amendment
Foundation) and he thought it was a good idea as long as there were no men
visibly involved and ideally the spokeswomen should be victims.
