All gun owners are are people who are waiting to commit a crime. More guns more deaths. Guns are substitutes for innadequacy and make citizens feel like a bunch of Rambos. I wont associate with any gun owners.

Okay, now that I’ve got your attention, read on:

These are quotes from a board I read, and got sick of, recently. It’s one of many from a particular embicile with whom I exchanged posts.

This particular person who’s screen identity I will leave out made dozens of posts along with other people who made similar ones, aggressively bashing gun owners. His entries ranged from basic insanity to name calling and aggressive sneers, along with accusing every gun owner with a story to share of lying and inventing tales. I shared a few stories and was called a liar and plied for details, particularly why I felt having a gun kept me safer. Of course I was told I exagerated and lied.

What makes this guy worth mentioning is a number of facts. First off, typical of all of those who think like him, and we are talking tens of thousands, he denies any situations and declares that if you are a victim of crime, you must be some lowlife who hangs out in bars and invites trouble. You are too stupid to think of other ways to protect yourself, and because police wear uniforms, they are superhuman and can solve all of your problems.

This guy, typical of so many, did not provide any evidence to support any of his claims after I challenged the anti gun people in the board, who should have been able to bombard me with anything they had.

The last couple of posts were amusing, because he finally resorted to a little sneer about me needing to hide behind my gun and not being able to face a real challenge, like him for example.

He and his cohorts made a carreer out of parroting the noise made by the Brady groups and others, about how a gun in the home makes your chances of getting killed greater, sweet talking criminals, etc.

Knowing that this man was probably half a country away, I non profanely told him that if he’d like to test me, he could name the time and place and I’d be happy to personally discuss his views and his opinion of me. This after he claimed that meeting his anti gun buddies would have me wetting my pants (his term was a bit nastier) in cowardice.

Funny. Not only did this clown never respond to my calling of his bluff, but he didn’t reply to my posts again either.

The sad part is that he has millions of friends, and that those people have made gun owners out o be criminals, lowlifes and people you don’t dare share any space with. Despite the evidence of their error, they push the error to the limits, which has resulted in more deaths by unarmed citizens who must obey the laws restricting guns than we can count. Following the 9-11 plane crashes, no one woke up to the idea that armed passengers could stop terrorism when faced with it, instead most people went hysterical and began banning everything in sight. Kids with nail clippers, keychains and zipper chains were disciplined for having weapons, and playing cowboys and indians was enough to get you into the office as a potential terrorist.

Petty insults I could ignore, but the sad thing is that the heading of this post is just one of the many things this man had to say, and he and his friends have an attitude that has killed more people than many wars.

When will anyone ever learn?????
