Hodgdon Announces Powder Recall

The Hodgdon Powder company has announced a recall on its 1-pound
containers of LIL’ GUN smokeless powder. The company says the powder has
the potential to create excessive pressure in firearms when loaded in
cartridges and/or shotshells using standard loading data. Such a
condition, if present, could cause personal injury and/or damage to the
firearm. Users should immediately stop using this product and return it
to Hodgdon as soon as possible.

All hunters in possession of Hodgdon LIL’ GUN powder with a lot number
of 103080221 should call Hodgdon at (913) 362-9455 or (800) 622-4366 for
instructions on returning the powder. Hodgdon will send those people
affected by this recall, a return shipping carton free of charge as well
as a free replacement product.
