I’m curious….
I was looking at the Misinformed Mom website and noticed that a number of the “endorsers” in Virginia were actually city government groups and PTA organizations. Tax money is involved at least in the city of Richmond, although I don’t know if they get state or federal subsidization. When I give money to the PTA, it is under the assumption that it will be used to supplement education, not to be used for political lobbying. Does an “endorsement” mean financial support? And even if it doesn’t, isn’t this innapropriate at best, possibly illegal? Also, rumor has it that the city of Richmond (our state capital) actually paid to send a busload of these ladies to the “March.” If this is true, I find it VERY disturbing. I thought only China and Cuba had government sponsored “protests.”
