Ypsilanti Man Stabbed During Argument
Suspect Is Co-Worker, But Attack Not Work-Related
YPSILANTI, 4:30 p.m. EST March 26, 2001– An Ypsilanti man remains hospitalized after being stabbed in the stomach early Monday morning.
Investigators said that two men began arguing inside a house on North Summit. A 33-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach by a 29-year-old man, police said.
Police in the Washtenaw County community are looking for a suspect.
The 33-year-old was taken to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in nearby Ann Arbor, and is expected to recover.
Both men are from Ypsilanti and are co-workers, police said. They said that the argument had nothing to do with work.
