I am happy to announce one of those internet firearm raffles that the
liberals love to hate.

My daughter’s hockey team, the Alaska Firebirds girls hockey team, is
doing a fundraiser, to send the Firebirds teams (several age classes) to
a large girls hockey tournament, in Brampton Canada (near Toronto).

Mr. Hans Vang has graciously donated a very nice shotgun to the cause.
A trip to his web site (www.vancomp.com) will show you a photograph of
the very shotgun. For those of you in and around the Anchorage area, it
is at the “Great Guns” shop, near 76th and the Old Seward, for viewing.
Just ask Chuck Grubin to see the “hockey shotgun” and he’ll be happy to
hand it over for your handling pleasure. He will be the FFL holder that
will transfer the shotgun to your favorite FFL holder, if someone out of
Alaska wins the shotgun.

Tickets are $5.00 each, feel free to buy a bunch (uhhh, my personal
editorial comment) and enjoy.

For each $5.00 I get, you get one raffle ticket mailed back. The drawing
is April 8th, and Mr. Hans Vang is traveling up here to draw the winning
