READER QUESTIONS QUOTE

Regarding the article Illegal gun traced to Texas police (July 10) about Project
Disarm’s latest findings, you quote Const. Amy Phillipo as saying, “Anywhere
you’ll find guns, you’ll find drugs.” As a legal firearms owner, I
am really hoping that either she was misquoted or she misspoke. She probably meant
to say that if you find illegal drugs you may find illegal firearms, otherwise I
would have to question just what drugs came along with her gun.
