2 Men Being Questioned

NEW ORLEANS — An armed robbery suspect was shot to death overnight
Sunday, police said.

The incident happened at about 1 a.m. near the intersection of Erato and
South Rampart streets.

Investigators said two men were getting into their car after leaving a
club when the suspect approached them and demanded money. Police said
one of the men got a gun from the car and shot the robbery suspect,
killing him.

The two men are being questioned but no charges have been filed.
