Resist firearms ban

The anti-gun groups want a Canada- wide ban on semi-automatic firearms.
Why? Because they want it their way. Like every other minority group in
this country, Canadians who own legally acquired firearms come from many
walks of life — they’re doctors, lawyers, dentists, farmers and
everyday working men. We all share the same sport, be it target shooting
or hunting. We are safe, law-abiding people who enjoy a sport that is
older than Canada.

The anti-gun groups should spend their time fighting for tougher, longer
prison sentences, locking up child molesters, or better yet, fighting to
bring back the death penalty. Anti-gun groups target the legal owners of
firearms because we are an easy, safe group to single out. Why would
they waste their time on the criminals?
