The Million Mom March supports laws which restrict carrying concealed weapons in inappropriate places, like churches, schools, daycare centers, sports arenas, bars and hospitals. But, many pro-gun groups, despite research to the contrary, think an armed citizenry makes for a safer community. Pro-gun groups are expending lots of energy and money to pass Carry Concealed Weapons (CCW) laws which make it easier for almost anyone to get a license to carry concealed loaded guns. More permissive CCW laws mean more guns in our communities.

THUS, THE “MOMS” ADMIT THERE ARE “APPROPRIATE” PLACES FOR ORDINARY PEOPLE TO CARRY CONCEALED. IT’S ALL JUST A DEBATE OVER WHERE SPECIFICALLY THOSE ARE. THEY DID NOT MENTION GROCERY STORES, THE MALL, THE BEAUTY PARLOR, OFFICE BUILDINGS, AND (I COULD GO ON).
