A Louisburg store owner said he avoided a robbery attempt early
Saturday by shooting at an armed man.
Atlas Griffin, 69, owner of “Triple G” convenience store, 3822 U.S.
401 South, shot at the alleged robber shortly after opening the store
about 5 a.m., he said.
